King Carlos Coffee Panama Geisha Rocky Mountain's name has its origin by the Mountain called Cerro Punta, located in the district of Cerro Punta, Province of Chiriquí Panama. These areas were established by migrant families from the Boquete area. In the beginning, around the 1950s and 1960s, Typica coffee was planted but due to the low price of coffee in 1990s, it was decided to eliminate coffee and dedicate the land to planting vegetables. In the last 10 years, some of these areas have been restored with the Geisha varieties, which give us characteristics that are very specific to their microclimate. The coffee was processed with wild yeast and bacteria original to this area. This Natural Geisha was dried on African beds.
