Step-by-Step Guide to a Spotless Espresso Machine

Daily Back-flushing for Each Delivery Group,

Begin your maintenance routine by back-flushing each delivery group with the Cafetto EVO cleaner. Start by removing the coffee filter from the group handle and replacing it with a blind filter. For regular daily cleaning, add one level scoop of Espresso Clean® into the group handle. If the machine has gone longer without cleaning, use two scoops instead.

Activate the cycle for 10 seconds to allow the cleaner to dissolve fully. Pause the cycle for another 10 seconds, then repeat this start-stop cycle four more times to ensure the cleaner has thoroughly worked through. Afterward, rinse the blind filter well under water from the delivery group, ensuring no residue remains.

To guarantee a complete rinse, re-insert the handle with the blind filter and perform the start-stop cycle 10 times, running for 5 seconds and pausing for 2 seconds. Finally, replace the blind filter with the regular filter, brew a single espresso, and discard it to re-season the machine.

Daily Cleaning for Filters and Group Handles, 

To keep your filters and group handles in top condition, soak them in 500ml of hot water mixed with two scoops of Espresso Clean. After 10 minutes, ensure a thorough rinse under running hot water.
