Meet Carlos. Chef turned roaster, since 2002.
Carlos trained as a chef at Star City under Paul Henessey and Ramael Scully, then opened his first espresso bar in 2002. He ran cafes inside Club Central Hurstville and beside Service NSW, and supplied St George Rowers, Illawarra Catholic Club and the bowling clubs along the way.
That is why King Carlos Coffee feels different. We have been on your side of the bar through the morning rush, the breakdowns and the difficult customers. How fresh is your coffee?
We roast in small batches every week at our Hurstville roastery. Most online orders ship within 2 business days of roast, so the coffee on your bench is days old, not weeks. Every bag is dated so you know exactly when it was roasted.
How long does delivery take?
Sydney metro: 1-3 business days. Rest of Australia: 2-5 business days via express. We dispatch Mon-Wed so coffee arrives mid-week, ready to brew. Tracking emailed when shipped.
How much is shipping?
Free Australia-wide shipping on orders over $80. Flat rate under that, calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
How does the Brew Club subscription work?
Pick your coffee, your size (250g, 500g, 1kg or 2kg) and your frequency (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). Save 20% on every order. Free shipping over $80. Skip or pause anytime from your account.
Do you have a physical store I can visit?

Do you offer barista training?
Yes. All wholesale partners get hands-on training with our team, on-site at your venue or at our Hurstville roastery. Includes dial-in support, milk technique, machine basics and ongoing recipe refinement.
Do you supply machines and grinders?
Yes. We stock and supply La Marzocco, Bezzera, Mahlkonig, Mazzer and PUQ. Wholesale partners on a 12-month commitment get on-loan equipment included. Or BYO and save more per kg.
What if our machine breaks during service?
We have techs in NSW, VIC and QLD. Same-day priority where possible. Call (02) 9580 1300 and we will troubleshoot over the phone first, then organise a tech or backup equipment to keep you pouring.
