About Gran Mezcla Coffee Blend
Medium-dark blend built to cut through milk.
Gran Mezcla is a medium-dark roast blend from Colombia, Brazil and Papua New Guinea, roasted weekly at our Hurstville roastery in Sydney. Heavier body than Re Firma with a clean orange-citrus lift on the finish. Built for strong milk drinks, mochas and stovetop brewing.

Best for
Strong flat whites, mochas and lattes that need to punch through full-cream milk. French press at home. Stovetop / moka pot brewing. Anyone whose idea of "good coffee" tastes like rich chocolate with a hint of orange.

Brewing recipes
- Espresso: 19g in, 36g out, 26-30 seconds
- Filter / pour-over: 1:16 ratio (60g per litre), medium grind, 94°C water, 3:30-4 minute brew
- Stovetop / moka pot: Fine grind, fill basket level, brew on medium heat until you hear gurgle, remove immediately

We roast weekly in our Hurstville roastery, in small batches. Every bag has its roast date printed on it, so you always know exactly how fresh your coffee is.
Best window for espresso: 7-21 days after roast date.
Best window for filter / pour-over: 5-30 days after roast date.
Store in an airtight container away from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep beans whole until you grind, grind fresh per shot.
