Killer Ninja is a medium-dark blend of beans from Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia, roasted weekly at our Hurstville roastery in Sydney. Espresso-first design with heavy body and a dried-fruit edge that holds up through milk. For drinkers who want their shot to taste like more than just "coffee."

Best for
Espresso drinkers who want a fruit edge in their shot. Long blacks. Strong milk drinks that need character. Stovetop brewing for fuller-bodied home coffee. Skip if you only drink smooth, mild coffees, this one has opinions.

Brewing recipes

  • Espresso: 22g in, 44g out, 28-32 seconds
  • Filter / pour-over: 1:16 ratio (60g per litre), medium grind, 94°C water, 3:30-4 minute brew
  • Stovetop / moka pot: fine grind, fill basket level, brew on medium heat until you hear the gurgle, remove immediately

Roasted weekly in Hurstville, Sydney. Every bag is clearly dated. Free shipping on orders over $80.

We roast weekly in our Hurstville roastery, in small batches. Every bag has its roast date printed on it, so you always know exactly how fresh your coffee is.

Best window for espresso: 7-21 days after roast date.

Best window for filter / pour-over: 5-30 days after roast date.

Store in an airtight container away from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep beans whole until you grind, grind fresh per shot.
