Single origin
This is a special-occasion coffee. Geisha (also spelled Gesha) is one of the most sought-after varieties in the world, and ours comes from the celebrated grower Jairo Arcila in Colombia. Floral, delicate, and unlike anything in our blend range. A limited release.
Jasmine florals, ripe peach and honey. Delicate, clean and almost tea-like. Best brewed black as filter or pour-over. A limited-release Geisha from Jairo Arcila, Colombia. Light roast.
What it tastes like
Geisha is famous for its perfume, and this one delivers. Think jasmine florals, ripe peach and a soft honey sweetness, all wrapped in a clean, tea-like body. It is aromatic in a way that surprises people the first time.
This is not a milk coffee. The whole point is those delicate aromatics, and milk would simply cover them up.
Grown by Jairo Arcila
Our Geisha is grown by Jairo Arcila at the Villarazo farm in Quindio, Colombia, one of the most respected names in specialty coffee. The Geisha variety is prized worldwide for its floral, almost perfumed cup.
It is grown in small volumes and we release it in limited quantities, so when it is gone, it is gone until the next lot.
How to brew it
Brew it black to let the florals shine. A pour-over like a V60 is ideal, and an AeroPress works beautifully too. Use a slightly coarser grind and water just off the boil to keep it delicate.
If you must use espresso, pull it as a light, gentle shot. But filter is where a Geisha truly belongs.

How should I brew Colombia Geisha?
Black, as a pour-over or AeroPress, with a slightly coarser grind and water just off the boil, to keep the delicate florals intact.
Can I drink Geisha with milk?
We would not. The whole appeal is its delicate jasmine and peach aromatics, which milk would mask. Enjoy it black.
