2024 Silver Medal winner. A rare Pink Bourbon with honey processing and a striking lulo fruit character.
Santa Monica is a Pink Bourbon variety from a single producer, honey processed for sweetness and clarity. Roasted weekly at our Hurstville roastery in Sydney. This is a coffee for filter drinkers who chase complexity — lulo (lulu) fruit, lime brightness, and an unusual condensed-milk sweetness in the cup.

Best for
Filter coffee drinkers who want something unusual. V60, Chemex, AeroPress, batch brew. Anyone who has graduated past chocolate-blend espresso and wants to taste what specialty coffee can really do. Best enjoyed black to experience the full lulo-lime-condensed-milk arc.

- Filter / V60: 1:16 ratio (60g per litre), medium grind, 94-96°C water, 3:30 brew time
- AeroPress: 17g coffee, 220g water at 85°C, 2 minute steep, gentle plunge
- Chemex / batch brew: 1:17 ratio, medium-coarse grind, 95°C water

We roast weekly in our Hurstville roastery, in small batches. Every bag has its roast date printed on it, so you always know exactly how fresh your coffee is.
Best window for espresso: 7-21 days after roast date.
Best window for filter / pour-over: 5-30 days after roast date.
Store in an airtight container away from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep beans whole until you grind, grind fresh per shot.
